Police get reinforced with technological means

Cabinda, ANGOLA, June 15 - National Police in northern Cabinda province will be strengthened with technological and transport means to combat illegal immigration and crime in the country's northern region. ,

 

The assurance was made by the general commander of National Police, Alfredo Mingas.

 

According to him, the initiative is to ensure the inviolability of the border with the neighbouring countries like Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Republic of Congo.

 

During his two-day stay in Cabinda, Alfredo Mingas visited the Border Police unit, border check points with the two countries.

 

The Commander also met with the local governor Eugénio Laborinho, who presented the concern of cases of illegal immigration, firearms homicides, robberies, thefts and road accidents.

 

The visiting agenda includes meeting with members of Consultative Council of police and of the Provincial Office of Interior Ministry.
