Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island
to screen ‘Outcasts’ Nov. 10

PROVIDENCE – On Nov. 10, Rhode Island will become the second New England state to screen the award-winning film “Outcasts.”

Produced by Grassroots Films, out of New York City, the film follows a group of Franciscan friars as they travel through five different countries to document the lives of people who are living on the fringes of society – those considered outcasts.

Director Joe Campo and the Rev. John Anthony will be on-site and participate in a question-and-answer session following the film.

Co-sponsored by the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, the screening will take place on Saturday at 3 p.m. at McVinney Auditorium at 43 Dave Gavitt Way.
