In response to attacks last week, Pennsylvania State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe took to Facebook to voice his frustrations on Friday, report CBS Pittsburgh. In his post, Metcalfe bashed several Democrats and referred to them as "liberal losers."

Metcalfe wrote: "Another lying Philadelphia Liberal Democrat Legislator attacking me this week with the help of the media! Another Democrat plays the victim while he is actually the perpetrator! After a committee meeting last week Philadelphia Representative Rabb approached me and launched into a profanity laced disrespectful tirade."

Metcalfe called out multiple of his peers and did not hold back. He said that Rep. Brian Sim is a "lying homosexual," and Rep. Matt Bradford is "touchy-feely."

Metcalfe continued: "Former Rep Leslie Acosta, who lied about me is now convicted Acosta. Lying homosexual Rep Brian Sims has been under an ethics investigation, then there is constant touchy-feely Rep Matt Bradford, who has touched me over 40 times in what many observers have said is an attempt to provoke me!"

Pennsylvania Democrats did not sit idly by, and responded to Metcalfe harsh accusations. In a tweet, Rep. Brian Sim said that he was a “gaslighter who threatens people and then backs down and claims victimhood when you’re called out.”

Sinceré Harris, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, said that he needs to be removed from office immediately. In a statement Harris said:

“Metcalfe’s racist and homophobic outbursts and blatant admission that he blocks legislation from advancing for the sole reason that it is sponsored by Democrats is why Pennsylvanians distrust Harrisburg. Not only is he a disgusting human being, he is incredibly unfit to run the House’s State Government Committee and Mike Turzai must revoke his chairmanship immediately.”

In an email to supporters, Sims later said, "I’m up against this type of blatant homophobia and bigotry almost every day in the Capitol, but it's never stopped me before and it sure won’t now."
