Leigh-Anne and Jade form half the band with Jesy and Perrie Edwards, and last released music in November.
Jesy was quick to assure that they are still working together as she responded to a fan on Instagram by posting: 'Absolutely not until it comes from us I wouldn't believe anything you read'.
The starlet's comments came after The Sun reported the band were holding 'crisis talks' as Jesy expressed a desire to pursue an acting career.
Yet an insider told the site: 'The girls have an agreement in place that anything to do with Little Mix will always come first for them.
'The band is 100 per cent their priority. So any possible acting jobs for Jesy in future would have to fit around their plans.
'It is very much a side project for her, but one that she would love to look into further as long as there are no clashes with band commitments.'
Little Mix have been enjoying musical success, having recently picking up accolades for Best Group, Best Song for their Stormzy collaboration, Power and Best British Artist Or Group at the Global Awards last month.
